Pulsed Electro- Magnetic Field Therapy (PEMF)
Sasha physiotherapy is one of very few clinics in the UK offering this scientifically proven treatment. It is widely used in the USA, Canada, India and in the rest of Europe with amazing results and with many positive testimonials.
With just a few PEMF treatment sessions, as an adjunct to your physiotherapy session, it can help,
PEMF Therapy works by improving the blood supply and increases the oxygen pressure, activating and regenerating cells. PEMF enhances fracture healing and helps reduce pain.
Safe pulsating electromagnetic fields improve peripheral circulation and help the pain associated with injuries. PEMF is indicated for both Acute and Chronic pain.
There are no side effects documented, but Clients must be encouraged to drink plenty of water before and after a PEMF therapy session, as they can often feel thirsty.
During the session you may feel a certain sensation of warmth, which is normal and you are encouraged to sit up slowly after the session is complete.
PEMF is NOT to be used if you are pregnant, or if you are carrying any kind of implanted active electronic device (e.g. Pacemaker, defibrillator or brain shunt), or if you have been diagnosed with Cancer.
